Goal for '08: To win The Biggest Loser

1.) What was your big turning point -- either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose weight?

Jay:[My turning point was] that I couldn’t go up stairs without getting tired.

2.) If you could go back in time, would you go on the show with the same weight-loss buddy? Why or why not?

Jay: Yes I would. I think Mark is a great partner

3.) Who worked harder at losing weight—you or your partner? Tell us why.

Jay: I think we both worked equally hard, but Mark is a workout machine.

4. ) Who do you think will make it to the end of the show and why?

Jay: Jay because he’s awesome.

5.) What is one thing that happened behind-the-scenes that no one would know from watching the show?

Jay:[No one sees] how jam-packed our days are. Even when there are no cameras around, we always have something to do.

6.)What advice can you give other people who are hoping to lose extra pounds?

Jay:Burn more calories than you take in.

7.) What strategy did you use to try and stay on the show? Why don’t you think it worked?

Jay: I’m still here.

8.) Do you think anyone was portrayed unfairly on the show?

Jay: I don’t know.

9. Did anyone act differently when the cameras were off?

Jay: No. I don’t think so.

    1.) What was your big turning point -- either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose weight?

    Dan: About 6 months ago, a close friend of mine passed away.

    2.) If you could go back in time, would you go on the show with the same weight-loss buddy? Why or why not?

    Dan: I love my mom and I wouldn’t have done this with anyone else.

    3.) Who worked harder at losing weight—you or your partner? Tell us why.

    Dan: My mom and I challenged each other equally and that is why we made a great team.

    4.) What do you think your biggest weight-loss obstacles will be now that you're dieting on your own?

    Dan: Not having Bob there. The fear of Bob is a great motivator.

    5. ) Who do you think will make it to the end of the show and why?

    Dan: Me, because I’m so cool.

    6.) What is one thing that happened behind-the-scenes that no one would know from watching the show?

    Dan: I love stealing the production golf carts.

    7.)What advice can you give other people who are hoping to lose extra pounds?

    Dan: Get on The Biggest Loser.

    8.) What strategy did you use to try and stay on the show? Why don’t you think it worked?

    Dan: Mainly, just losing the weight. That was my strategy.

    Dan: I don’t know. I haven’t seen the show.

    Dan: Everyone acted differently. Everyone.

    1.) What was your big turning point -- either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose weight?

    Brittany: It was a gradual denial that culminated into a eventual realization that I was young and unhealthy.

    2.) If you could go back in time, would you go on the show with the same weight-loss buddy? Why or why not?

    Brittany: Thankfully I was partnered up with someone who I was compatible with. They couldn’t have chosen a better partner than Bernie.

    3.) Who worked harder at losing weight—you or your partner? Tell us why.

    Brittany: We both worked extremely hard.

    4.) What do you think your biggest weight-loss obstacles will be now that you're dieting on your own?

    Brittany: I still have to work on my fear of failure.

    5. ) Who do you think will make it to the end of the show and why?

    Brittany: Myself because I don’t take any guff!

    6.) What is one thing that happened behind-the-scenes that no one would know from watching the show?

    Brittany: I would tell you, but then I would have to kill you.

    7.)What advice can you give other people who are hoping to lose extra pounds?

    Brittany: Stick with it. Results really do come with consistency and a positive outlook.

    8.) What strategy did you use to try and stay on the show? Why don’t you think it worked?

    Brittany: Being a competitor and recognizing a winner when you see it.

    9.) Do you think anyone was portrayed unfairly on the show?

    Brittany: I haven’t seen any of the episodes yet.

    10. Did anyone act differently when the cameras were off?

    Brittany: Everybody loves when the cameras are off. We run amuck.
