Bette-Sue and Ali

Name:Bette-Sue Burklund
Starting Weight: 261 lbs
Eliminated Weight: 224 lbs
Hometown: Mesa, AZ
Favorite cheat food: Mexican food
Goal for '08: 170 lbs by April 5th ; 155 lbs by August and hold it

Name:Ali Vincent
Starting Weight: 234 lbs lbs
Eliminated Weight: 198 lbs
Hometown: Mesa, AZ
Favorite cheat food: Cheese crisp
Goal for '08: [My goal is to ] get down to 125 lbs and pay off all my credit cards

1.) What was your big turning point -- either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose weight?

Bette-Sue: [My turning point was] seeing pictures of myself in the video we made for B.L. and then again at the ranch Awful, awful, awful!

Ali: I would say I really realized that I needed to lose weight when I saw myself in the try-out video we made.

2.) If you could go back in time, would you go on the show with the same weight-loss buddy? Why or why not?

Bette-Sue:Absolutely. Ali is a hard worker and driven.

Ali: Yes, I would still go with my mom; obviously I could have chosen someone who was younger with more of a chance to physically compete. However, mom and I did not lose because we were coming up short, we lost more over personality conflict.

3.) Who worked harder at losing weight—you or your partner? Tell us why.

Bette-Sue:Ali worked harder. I just lost the first 35 lbs easily.

Ali: I would say that I definitely worked harder to lose the same amount if not less than my mom. For whatever reason, the weight just seemed to fall off of her.

4.) What do you think your biggest weight-loss obstacles will be now that you're dieting on your own?

Bette-Sue: The hardest part is getting enough cardio in (lack of discipline!). Life is full and lots of responsibilities to fit in. I must burn more! If I was just doing this for life it would be fine, but I must lose for the finale! The public humiliation in looming and I must redeem myself from those first pictures. Ha.

Ali: I think the hardest part about dieting on my own is just finding the time to do it all, particularly preparing and journaling my food.

5. ) Who do you think will make it to the end of the show and why?

Bette-Sue: Gray team. [They’re] easy going, non-intrusive and should be big losers.

Ali: I'm not sure because I don't think it has to do with whether or not a contestant loses weight; sometimes it's just who has more "alliances". Hopefully it will be those with high possible percentages of weight loss, so I can win the "at home" weight loss.

6.) What is one thing that happened behind-the-scenes that no one would know from watching the show?

Bette-Sue:[Viewer’s wouldn’t know] how odd Paul is. Or scheming that didn’t seem possible—at least to me—the week we were eliminated.

Ali:[no answer]

7.)What advice can you give other people who are hoping to lose extra pounds?

Bette-Sue: Do more exercise! It is unbelievable what you are capable of! Do more than you think you can and [work] harder than you think you can.

Ali: Be conscious and pay attention to what you put in your mouth. You'd be surprised.

8.) What strategy did you use to try and stay on the show? Why don't you think it worked?

Bette-Sue: Our plan was to never fall below the line, to always lose more than other people— well we did! However, we didn’t do enough CYA with the smoozing of other people. We trusted that others were working as hard as we were on the week of “all against one”. Silly us!

Ali: We didn't really have a strategy which, I guess, is why we are home right now.

9.) Do you think anyone was portrayed unfairly on the show?

Bette-Sue: Not sure yet how people are portrayed.

Ali: I don't know, I haven't seen any of the episodes yet.

10.) Did anyone act differently when the cameras were off?

Bette-Sue: Not sure. I didn’t pay enough attention to others—wish I had—we might still be there!

Ali: Everyone was pretty much what you see is what you get. You might say Neill did—he didn't really do much unless people were watching.

Although I didn't find it fair that the pink team was voted home - I did find it funny that the pink team was angry that the yellow team voted them off - when it was the pink team that was voting the yellow team off to start with. What did they expect would happen? They didn't seem to show any remorse of wanting the yellow team to go home, until they realized it was going to bite them in the end. I guess what goes around, comes around - although, I did not agree with the way the elimination was handled this week. It should have stuck with the below the yellow line procedure.

Girls, you did fabulous! Was so disappointed with the people who rigged this one and it culmunated in your elimination. Maybe the program will change for the better and eliminate the desire for cheating, water loading, alliances, manipulations and voting people off...Seems to me a total weight loss percentage would be the best way of sending folks home. If rewarding good progress was the criteria, you would still be there as you wanted to be and we the viewers would be able to enjoy seeing good work, honest progress and good behavior rewarded instead of all this cheating and manipulation. It is so tiring and sets up really bad role modeling in the short and long haul . Poor teaching on the shows part.
As i said before, you did fabulous and i am so happy that you did so well. You can be very very proud of yourselves for the weight loss and the status of being honest and great contestants.

I was sorry to see Bette-Sue and Ali leave! They are "real "KIND" people" you can just tell! Keep going strong, I have faith that you both will do the very best, to reach your goals. Your "Determination" definately will prevail! The bond you have with each other is heart warming! Best Of Luck!

So sorry to see you go.. very disappointed in the cheating that went on. I think the ones that plotted it all should have been the ones to go (purple) It should be an honest fight. And their games got your team booted off. Yes you voted for them, but only because they were the biggest threat to you, which was your instructions. But the pink team worked way harder than the purple team. If anyone deserved to go it was them. Team Black has worked super hard as did the others. The purple team have been slackers from the start. I'd like to see the Gray or black team win. My favorite was the brown team. I though they had great values and wanted to play fair. Best of luck to the pink team... Ya'll look great!

    Hi ladies,
My husband and I just began our fitness program this year to get in shape. We watch the show every week; we had each picked a team to root for and you were my team. I was sorry to see you voted off and it was not fair. Both of you worked hard and deserved to stay on. I think you made great progress from your where are they now spot at the show's end! can't wait to see you on the finale!! Keep up the awesome work!

    Bette-Sue and Ali
I was so sorry to see you both voted of the show. I was pulling for the both of you 100 percent. Now that your off you 2 will show them all. Coming back in the sexiest dresses and showing off your new bodys. As for my self I wish and alot of people I know wish that the 2 of you could give us the HELP we need to lose the weight. Im 40 5/4 & 253 pounds. Can you let us know your diet on the show & how your workout was. Again i'm so sorry that both of you were voted off.
    Thanks,
    Denise

Ok, I dated Ali back when she was in High School and lived in Northern California. I had been watching the show for a couple of episodes, but it just hit me last night. I am glad to see she is on her way to her goal weight. She was always a sweet girl.

    Posted by: Michael | January 23, 2008 01:55 PM

I agree that the purple team should be gone. They are not accomplishing what the others are. I was mad at blue and purple for the water nonsense but next week Brittany will easily lose a good deal but the purple girls I think are destined for 2 and 1 lb losses I always wonder how much control the trainers have over thier eating - since they I think are all busting thier butts in the gym

    Posted by: Heidi | January 23, 2008 02:28 PM

I am so sorry to see you guys go. Bette-Sue cracked me up! I loved watching. Can't wait to see you at the finale!

    Bette Sue & Ali:
It's so unfair that you two were eliminated & how it all came about. Bette Sue, you were the main reason I watched the show. Your humor, determination & your honesty have been inspirational to many viewers. I know that you brought me to tears a couple of times. Best wishes to you both on your newest journey to weight-loss & health.

    Bette Sue & Ali:
I was so very upset that ya'll were sent home. I am so proud of both of you and you keep up the good work. You both can do this and come back to the finalle and show some of them just what you are capable of. i agree with alot of the other comments some of the others should have gone home not the PINK. keep up your good work. Keep us updated. Keep up the good work. God Bless you both.

I too was mad to see you both voted off. Although if it was between you and the purple team.. You both were a bigger threat than the purple team. I don't think they water loaded, they haven't pulled big numbers since they've been there! They've been below the yellow line twice, and you know how the game is played.. they vote off the "biggest losers" first to give themselves a better chance at winning. I do think the yellow team's plan backfired on them. They wanted so badly to see the Black team go.. who knew the biggest losers would get immunity? I think the game playing just comes back to bite ya! You both look awesome.. Especially Ali.. good luck in the finale!

    Posted by: Amy | January 23, 2008 09:27 PM

I am so upset that you two got voted off! Bette-Sue, I loved what you said during the elimination. I got tired of hearing Kelly babbling on about how she wasn't being patronizing, blah, blah, blah (I'm not a yellow team fan at all!!), so when you said what you did about not kissing people's asses and what-not, I was definitely cheering for you! I think if they were voting for their "biggest threat" and they couldn't vote for black team they should have voted for orange or gray, and I was absolutely disgusted by the teams who water-loaded to throw the weigh in, especially purple because Maggie didn't even tell her partner Jenn. I'm going to keep rooting for team Pink and I know you two will show them all up at the finale!

    Posted by: Kalli | January 24, 2008 05:53 AM

I was so disappointed to see you go - I could relate very well, being in similar situation. I think the ones that cheated should be diciplined somehow - it sets a bad example for people to see these folks get away with cheating. I think it will get them in the end. You were my pick to stay all the way!

    Posted by: Faye | January 24, 2008 04:59 PM

keep going you look great i was rooting for both of you

Hi Bette-Sue...Saw you on The Biggest Loser...I was sure it was you when I saw you were from Mesa, AZ. I lived with your family the summer of 1970 and trained with the Desert Rats. I swam at ASU. I live in LA now with my husband and 15 year old daughter. How is Judy? Blair? and little Matthew? (Probably not so little anymore...and pushing 50.) Are your parents still alive? If so, please say hi. Anyway, sorry you and Ali got voted off but hang in there...You both look awesome and I know it was so much work. (Almost like some of those long course workouts of Walt's.) You look the same, as your personality and smile still come thru...Do you still swim? I still do...I love the Rose Bowl here as it's 50 meters, outdoors...with a great group of people.
Take care, and best of luck.

It sucks you were voted off. Purple hardly loses, and then plot to vote off people who do lose weight. IT IS DISGUSTING.

    Posted by: Clara | January 24, 2008 11:21 PM

I thought the pink team was awesome. I need to lose weight to and seeing yall made me do what I needed to do and its losing weight. Yall have a special bond like me and my mom. Keep losing weight yall are doing great.

Thanks everyone for your support! It is a tough game that we were in and honestly its not over yet....so hang in watching! Never forget the PINK! Love ya!

Didgie, write me back at linktopink@gmail.com and I can get your email address..love ya! How fun is this?!

Bette Sue and Ali are AWESOME !!!!! I hope they continue their quest to loose the weight and I hope big things come of this for both of them. Everyone except that guy from the white team seemed commited to losing the weight but it was fun watching Bette Sue and Ali they have such a dynamic personality and seem so genuine and real. Just before they got voted off (and we all knew it was going to be them) I kept hoping Bette Sue would knock the tray over and say "I know its us enough with the drama and tears". You girls did AWESOME. Cant wait to see you both at the finale to see how much progress you had made.

    Posted by: Ken | January 25, 2008 04:50 PM

This manipulation by the writers to create conflict and angst and encourage people to do things like water loading will be the only reason I will decide to quit watching this otherwise motivating and dramatic show. Stick to the yellow line rule! I was so digusted and upset by the episodes where the yellow team was ostraicized and then the pink team eliminated....I may not watch any more episodes.

Posted by: Catherine Clowes | January 25, 2008 10:32 PM

It was very unfair that you were voted off. It is not right that members throw the weigh in. I know that you will continue to lose weight. Good luck.

    Posted by: Bev | January 25, 2008 11:44 PM

Betty Sue and Ali...you are winners in my book!! I never watched the show until I saw you on it!! And you worked so hard, never fell below the yellow line, I've been reading blogs all night and it is obvious that you two are an inspiration to all and true winners!!

    Posted by: Carolee | January 26, 2008 01:07 AM

You should NOT have gone home. I think the Biggest Loser was pulling a lot of tricks to make up some drama that didn't need to be there. It makes the show less enjoyable, and only adds to the stress of the contestants. I still enjoy the show, but will enjoy it slightly less without you. You were our favorite team!

    Posted by: Jessica | January 26, 2008 11:19 PM

Bette-Sue and Ali were my favorites. Personally Bette-Sue more so because of her age and her guts and determination. She did more than I ever could have for my age of 40. I do believe that the pink team had every right to be upset because they NEVER FELL BELOW THE YELLOW LINE. I would personally love to get my message to Bette-Sue that she is a great courageous woman. I seriously couldn't have worked that hard. I lost 87 lbs in 2 years and currently at the weight of 185 and I have never exercised to the point that she did. I think Ali is great as well to keep her mom motivated. They have some rough bumps in life and looks like Biggest Loser put them on the right track!!!!

    WAY TO GO LADIES!!!!

:( I am sad they were voted off.... THey were good

    Posted by: Bobby | January 27, 2008 11:48 AM

Bette-Sue and Ali loved watching you on the Biggest Loser. I hated that you left and I loved what Bette-Sue said to Paul and Kelly. I think that the three teams that need to go are the purple, orange and yellow. The purple girls act like they are still in high school, the orange team seems extremely obnoxious, and the yellow gets mad at the wrong people besides other things. If the yellow team was playing fairly they should have gotten rid of either the orange or blue because realistically they are both their biggest threats because all 3 teams are comprised of one male, one female. Keep up the good work, can't wait to see you two as skinny as you said you would be.

    Posted by: Lisa | January 27, 2008 06:30 PM

I really think you did great and look great but am very upset with your way of thinking its ok for you to vote against yellow but get angry when shoe is on other foot poor showing on your part yellow worked their butts go yellow you were my favorite team until you showed true colors

    Posted by: michelle | January 27, 2008 09:09 PM

I couldn't believe you voted against the yellow team and then pouted like babies and talked badly against them for doing the same thing back to you. Serves you right!

    Posted by: Rhonda | January 28, 2008 06:52 PM

Pink Team - you rock! You were my team from the start. I hope the writers realize what a mistake they made in the game rules that resulted in your elimination. Hey writers!! How about a reprieve like you gave Andro on the Austraillan Bigget Loser!!

    Posted by: Lori | January 29, 2008 01:36 PM

Betty Sue, I just loved you and your daughter. You reminded me of me and my mom. She is 75 and has trouble with her knees. I totaly was pulling for you guys and still are. You can do it, you are a beautiful woman and so is your daughter. Keep trying!

Posted by: Sharon Frye | January 30, 2008 01:37 PM

I hate that the two of you were voted off. It was so unfair. Although you voted for the yellow team to be voted off, your vote was fair. The yellow team was consitently bellow the yellow line (and this week they posted terrible numbers). They voted for you because you did throw the weigh in to eliminate the black team. Instead, you played the game fairly.

I loved what you said during elimination. I can't wait to see you both at the finale.

    Posted by: Jenny | January 30, 2008 01:38 PM

I was very shocked to be flipping channels one night and realize I recognized a face on the screen. Ali, I was very impressed watching you and your mom. Congratulations on the weight loss. I missed week 5, and was sorry to see you had been eliminated, but I'm sure you two will do fine on your own at home.

I'll be sure and say hi when I visit Phoenix in May. :)

Pink "BBW" Team - =( I am sorry to see you both voted off the show. You guys are AWESOME & AMAZING!!

Bette-Sue, you melt my heart and wish to marry you! *wink* Your husband is very luck to have you! You are so beautiful and sexy for your age!! Keep up the good work and can't wait to see you two as skinny as you said you would be.

    Cheers!

We wanted to let you know how cheated we thought you were on the show by the purple team and how we know the two of you were awesome on the show and we were so proud we could say we knew you. We love your mom as well!

I was sad to see you both get voted off. I lost my mother four years ago. She was very much like you Bette Sue and I am alot like your daughter in many ways. I would like to say one thing I hope you are sticking to the program for you and your families. My mother did not get to see her grandchildren grow up or my sister gruduate from Collage at 37 and go on to grad school. You have become my new insperation not to repeat my mother's mistakes with my life or my kids. Good luck do well I hope that you get to come back to the last show and be the biggest losers.
    You have both become mine.

I hope one of you will win the at home weight loss portion at the finale-- only because I feel the way you were voted off was unfair! So go for it girls! I am rooting for you and can't wait to see how well you have done at the finale! This show has been a real motivation to me! So keep up the good work! !!!!!:)

    Posted by: DLC | February 6, 2008 07:38 PM

So sad to see you both go. One of the few teams with any integrity. I will be rooting for you to come away "at home biggest loser"

    Posted by: Laura | February 7, 2008 04:04 PM

I think you both were bad sports - especially betty sue. the show is in part about game play. you switched your alliance a few times in case people don't remember. and while i agree purple should have gone home, I think that you in the end got what you deserved. I wish you both well on your weight loss journeys.

    Congrats on losing weight!
Althoug this is a game, you have to keep your focus on losing weight. It seems there was a lot of whining and complaining on your parts. You do realize that it is a game.
Do keep up your hard work.

I am thinking about sending in a video to casting. I was very motivated by you guys. Can you email me and tell me about how to get on without a partner. I do not have one to go on the show with, but I need to lose!!! I weight 286.

You are the Cat's Meow. I hope you come back looking stunning for the finale and you are the winner for the one voted off. My granddaughter and I went to a casting call for season 5 but only got called back for a video and that was the end for us. I am 60 years old 5ft.4in. and my weight was 230 but you know never under estimate the will power of a woman. I know my granddaughter and I were unique but NBC could not see that I had a mouth on me and a attitude like yours. I would be in Nashville,TN. this week end for the casting call but my granddaughter is pregnant.

Paul is odd? Hmm, seems odd to me that Bette Sue was caught going thru Pauls bag (with a yellow bandana on it). And game play, unfortunately, is a big part of this game. Some play better than others. In defense of all the contestants, I know how much happens behind the scenes that never gets put on the show, and it is unfortunate that some ppl are made to look a lot worse, and in some cases, better than they really are. I hope you 2 have made some healthy life style changes with your eating habits and excercising. I am looking fwd to the finale.

    Posted by: Lori | February 25, 2008 10:30 AM

I quite watching the show for a few weeks after the pink team was sent home, I was so angry. I know ratings are key for the network and sponsors and weight loss is far down the ladder. And I know, its a game. But boy how cruel! It's uncomfortable to watch. So now I don't watch every show anymore. It's just gotten mean. And I'm not up for mean. Too much like middle school bullies. To punish someone for working hard and playing by the rules is just wrong. I thought the elimination process was totally unfair, and agreed with Bette Sue 100%, you work hard, you deserve to stay.

It seems that everyone likes whiners. The Pink team looks great, but they lost focus. Too bad if they were voted off-that's how the show works.

Hey Bette-Sue, I thought I recognized you last week at Fry's. I loved your fire on the show, you were so feisty. Hang in there girl!

Hi girls....you two totally rock! I have been following the show this year because I feel like I know you--I train with Amber and the whole studio is following your progress. I was one of Amber's first "guinea-pigs" when she started her training and am still going strong. I love, love, love Pilates! Look forward to hanging out at the Onion with Bette-Sue soon and Alli--you go girl! Saw recent pix and OMG--you look amazing.

Does anyone know where Bette-Sue and Ali do hair? I love Bette-Sue's hair styles!

RUMOR!!!! I heard a rumor that two contestants that were voted off will come back the second week of March. My vote is to bring back PINK! Bette-Sue, what an inspiration you are to women out there who think they can't lose weight because they're not in their 20's anymore. BTW-I wore pink nail polish the whole time you guys were on. My little way of supporting the Pink!

Bette Sue - I have a funny feeling at the finale you are gonna be one HOT MOMMA. Someone better watch out cause I got a feeling Bob Harper's gonna faint! LOL

    Posted by: Barbara | March 4, 2008 11:10 PM

Hey girls, First of all good luck. Second I need advice. I started a weight lose program. I started off real good, starting weight 220 and I am now down to 175. I am stuck! I am at a plato and I am getting really discouraged. I am still working out and eating well, but the pounds isnt going no where for about 3 weeks now. Advice?

    Posted by: Janice | March 5, 2008 07:42 PM

Wow Janice, very impressive! Sounds like you hve been doing great. I wonder if the biggest loser site has any tips for what to do when you that plateau. Wish I could help you. Check out Jillian's and Bob's websites and see if they have anything on there to give you that boost you need. I wish you the best, don't give up!

The Anonymous Phantom has struck again. Bette-Sue, no offense to Ali, was my fave from the start. The Anonymous Phantom flamed Jackie countless times on her blog. Though Jackie kinda deserves it (her own SON??!!!!!!!!!!!) Anyway, the loading (hereafter The Water Incident) was a conspiricy, and the yellow should be LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNGGGG gone. All the eliminated before the pink were slackers. Morals before gameplay, people!

    Posted by: Joe | March 6, 2008 07:37 PM

Bette-Sue, I fell in love with your feistiness. I just wanted to give you a big hug. You had me laughing out loud so many times. Ali, you are absolutely beautiful. Whenever they start off each episode and they go through each contestant, the one of Bette-Sue making her face cracks me up and the one of Ali laughing makes me smile. Though I don't know either of you personally, I really miss you guys and am looking forward to seeing you at the finale.

You both are the greatest. I was so upset to see you go and am SO EXCITED to see Ali back on the show! Ali you truly inspire me. Seeing you on the show tonight has shown me that I can do it. Your starting weight is exactly what mine was this morning and your weigh in tonight is exactly what my goal weight is. You will never know what it meant to me to see you weigh in tonight and see how far you have come. Keep up the great work. Show them what you are made of!

Ali, I am so excited to see you on the show again. I never watched Biggest Loser, but since you were my stylist at Vidal Sassoon, I got hooked. I kept watching it after you were voted off, but I was STOKED to see you on it, slim and smiley! I just want to send you huge energy and best wishes. Beat the boys. That is going to be my mantra for you. Beat. The. Boys! Sarah from Healdsburg!

Not to take anything away from all you Spark guys but I am pumped after watching the Biggest Loser Couples last night. The weight method is too extreme for me, but I am amazed at the amount of weight that everyone has lost in just 11 weeks. Everyone of the contestants should consider themselves the winners they are.

However, kudos to my new heroine, Ali. She entered the contest 11 weeks ago weighing 234# and, upon returning, had lost a total of 67# or 28.68% of her body weight. (She had lost 33# at home after having been voted off.) Ali was put back in the TV contest and lost an additional 7# or 4.19% in just the past televised week.
What I really came away with from this show is that it is our ATTITUDE that counts. She did not give up, she relied on and did it for herself, she remained positive and focused. While Brittany and the other ladies, including Jillian, the trainer, were engaged in negative thinking about how unfair it was as guys ALWAYS have bigger loses, Ali kept a positive outlook and WON ~ ~ over the guys too. WAY TO GO . . . GALS ROCK!

I think competition is great but it should be an internal competition were one should compete against oneself for oneself, comparing apples to apples vs. comparing apples to oranges.

The Biggest Loser show is a game. Losing weight to become a healthier for life is not.

The thing that impressed me so much on last nights episode was that you look SO HAPPY! Don't get me wrong your body looks great but what made me the happiest is that you looked happy and self assured. Keep up the great work you are inspiring to many many people. Don't let the others get in your way - win it all you deserve it. It just goes to show that hard work does pay off.

    hey girls
I'm proud of you both, it must have taken alot of courage to be on the show to begin with. Keep up the good work. Just remember that when you got on the show, you knew that there was a chance that you would be voted off and just think about the progress that you have made. Being voted off is something that is going to happen no matter what, so I feel that there shouldn't be any hard feelings torse the other contestents. I know that its not always fare but thats the way it gos. You should be very proud of the progress you both have made. Think of it this way. You went too lose weight and get healther and you did that. No one can take that from you. Good luck on reaching your goals.

I am so excited to see another synchronized swimmer out there that is going through the samething that I am. I was also a nationally ranked synchronized swimmer, and I am also now over weight. I have always dreamed of being on this show since season one and Ali is living my dream... I am so excited that she is getting this second chance. Lose that weight and be the first female biggest loser, I know that you can do it!!!!

    Hello You Lovely Spunky Ladies,

Ali, you were just radiant tonight on that runway! You were so beautiful...you glow naturally! You work so hard, you deserve to glow with pride and you owned that spotlight. I hope you get the cover!!

And Bette Sue, you are such an inspiration to want to work with your daughter! I so wish my mom was still alive to take the journey with me. My daughter has already achieved her weight loss goals and maintains them admirably. She has always had my hourglass figure, but hers never got out of hand.

The two of you worked so hard on your own after being voted off so unfairly, it was amazing to see you again!

I am so looking forward to the first Biggest Loser Female (Couple) being Ali and Bette Sue (by osmosis). You had better be ready too, Bette Sue, because they just might pull a fast one at the end and it might depend on combined weight at the end!

Best of luck, Ladies!! I've followed Biggest Loser from the first year, and I'm cheering for you loud and clear!!!

    Amazing Ali!
I think you & Kelly are a good team. Keep the Blue Alliance baffled.

You are actually losing more % weight than Roger by 1% and tied with Mark percentage-wise. I think Roger is your biggest competitor...if only you weighed more when you started-ha!

Keep working out hard with Jillian, stay above the yellow line and be the first Woman Biggest Loser!

I am amazed at the 85 pounds you've lost and now so inspired to lose the 20 pounds I need to lose.

    You go girl.

You keep up the great work, your determination and enthusiasm are so inspiring....I lost 35 pounds two years ago and am still working hard to keep it off so I know where you are coming from! I was wondering if you had an email where I could write you some more personal struggles and questions that I have.
I just need some motivation from someone who knows how I feel.
I am a mom of 2 and trying for the 100th time to lose weight.

you and your mom are great. I would like to see you win. But Ive been watching ever year. The men come in weighing a lot more than the women and if you do the math theres no way a women will ever win. I dont like the show as well as I use to because they been cheating and so much lies. Its was about saving people lives I thought not whos going win are how can we cheat to get over on the others, You are great keep it up.
