Dan, while you weren't my favorite and I thought you made a bad choice by not voting Jay off when you had a chance, you did indeed make the show interesting.
K, were we watching the same episode? Dan has always been made out to be a very cocky kid. I actually found it satisfying to see him finally being brought down a peg on the ego scale and getting a taste of the "under the yellow line" medicine
With that said, I still think Dan did a great job losing weight and wish him continued success with his weight loss and music career.
It's great that Dan is able to do this while he is young and I hope he can keep it off long term.

Great job Dan. You were so dedicated and you look fantastic. Really sorry to see you go. I love the new hair cut.
Can't wait to see you at the finale!

Dan, sorry to say you were not my favorite, but congratulations on your awesome weight loss. You are fortunate to have learned a healthy lifestyle while you are so young. I'm sure you will pass on what you've learned and help others by your example. Keep up the good work.

Dan, you were our favorite(I watch the show with my two daughters). You had such determination and worked your butt off. Be PROUD of yourself! So happy to see you moved to LA and this truly was a life changing experience for you. Keep up the great work and come back and win the 100,000. Being voted off might have been the best thing for you. You CAN do it. Thanks for making us smile and laugh throughout the season. You are the best!

Dan you really needed to be brought down to a lower level. With the way you have been treating the ladies, you signed your own results. You should have been focus on who is the biggest threat. You messed up big time. You deserved what happened. The rest of the group should look out for Roger. He is the biggest threat. He likes to play like he is the guy that likes everyone. Watch out.
Posted by: Sandy | March 26, 2008 09:37 AM
Wow. I was really bummed to see you go. Of all the guys on your team, you were the only one my husband and would ever like in the real world. Your guys cry on every episode like a bunch of pansies. Anyway, you look great and I hope you win the at home prize.

I'm really impressed at how hard you worked to lose the weight! I was really sorry to see you go, but I think you may have learned a really valuable lesson - you can't trust everything that your "buddies" say!
Really looking forward to seeing you and your mom at the finale!

Dan- Sorry to see you go. I wish you had voted out one of the blood brothers last week! They have got to go. Can't wait to see you in the final.

Dan i am so sorry you had to go last night. I was crying when your mom left and cried when you left. I know you worked hard and you have come a long way. You look so good. I can not wait to see you in the finale.

We at first liked Dan and his Mom and were very inpressed by their weight loss.
What I did not like is when she was voted off and he got together with the Mark and Jay(They are so cocky and act like jerks!) and Roger.
These guys were a terrible influence on Dan.
I also hated how the guys treated the woman on the show, they deserve some respect.
Last night was a perfect example when they had to put food on other players tables.
The guys totally were out of control and ganged up on the woman!
It not fair! The woman are out numbered by what was four guys!
Everyone knows that men lose more weight, and to put four guys who have been losing large amounts of weight against two woman is not right!
Now there are three guys two of which have pulled large numbers and have alot of weight to lose. Mark is almost at goal so he is not so much of a threath as the others. His cocky attitude is!
I think both woman should keep banning together against these guys!
Iam pulling for them both and with Jullian's help watch out guys!

I second what Sandy said. Dan is a very cocky kid who can't carry a tune. The guys aren't playing the game the way it should be played. I hope you are all proud of yourselves for ganging up on the girls. What's next, make them cry to show how tough you are?
Posted by: Pam | March 26, 2008 12:13 PM
wish I were 20 years younger.... Dan you are hot! Great job!! Go will the hundred thousand!
Posted by: jan | March 26, 2008 12:17 PM
Well, you got knocked down a knotch Dan. You had a bad week, but I think you learned a life lesson from it. Don't ever get too over confident. Hope you are continuing on the road to being healthy. You did accomplish a lot on campus. I am so proud of Kelly and Ali for being the #1 and #2 BL on last nites episode!!!
Posted by: Lori in FL | March 26, 2008 12:36 PM
Ever since last night's episode, I disliked the blue with a passion. They ganged up on the ladies and they were so cocky that they gorged themselves. That is an amount of bullying that, frankly, I hate. The girls never did anything to them. They are meek, innocent characters. The girls who DID harm others are off the show! I wanted not only for the ladies to put up great numbers like they did, but for them to tell off the blue boys. To the blue, shame, shame, shame, SHAME. The girls are great. Dan should have put the cake on Roger's table, not Kelly's! STUPID PRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's awful! Dan, an apology is due to Ali, Kelly, and to America. Kelly, I wasn't a big fan of until The Conseccion Incident. Now, both are the best of any boys. BTW, I heard somewhere that pizza is kind of good for you. I also heard that the grease is olive oil, which works wonders for cholesterol. Anyway, Kelly and Ali RULE! Since Bernie left, I don't like a single guy on campus. You bunch of mean blue boys should be eliminated. I hope Ali or Kelly wins. Long live the girls! Stay The Most Decent on Campus! And let's not forget that Roger framed Kelly. Despicable! BTW Dan, my mom doesn't really like your singing, but I think that it's not horrible. But still, that doesn't mean I think what you did was right!
Posted by: Joe | March 26, 2008 01:13 PM
Dan, you did a great job losing the weight and I commend you for that. That being said, you have been mean spirited for a while now and I felt that your being voted off last night was deserved. There is a difference in 'playing the game' and being outright mean. I think when you fell below the line you finally got how frustrating it can be to know you worked hard and not much happened. The same as what happened with most of the women you treated so poorly. Maybe a little part of you will take that emotion and realize the mistakes you made then, and become a better person for it. Keep up the hard work, but I'm not sorry to see you go.
Posted by: Anonymous | March 26, 2008 01:25 PM
DAN!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO- *deep breath* -OOOOOOOOO!!!
You and your mom were my favorite team by far, and I was devastated at your elimination (as much so as when your mom was eliminated). Nevertheless, you have done remarkably, and you'll kick a truly staggering amount of booty going forward.
Best of the best in Los Angeles, man! Don't let it eat you alive!

It was good for Dan to go. I agree with the sentiments that Dan needed to understand what it is like to work really hard and not see results. And how it feels to be on that end of the stick. Not so easy to make fun of then is it?
The trick is to not take yourself so seriously and believe you are better than everyone. The minute that happens you are doomed.
Dan did start out the underdog kid you kinda felt a connection to, but it changed once the weigh started to come off and his confidence grew. Again, he got to grow up a bit and be the person he felt he couldn't before. So chances are maybe he will look at the show and think differently in the future.
On the flip side, you have to cut him a little slack though for his age and immaturity. He acted cocky because he was cocky, but so are most people that age in one way or another. I'm sure he will not think so openly high of himself as he matures over time. You have to love yourself, but how you portray and live it is what counts. His weight loss is fantastic and accomplishments are awe inspiring - which is the important thing for the show. Best of luck to him in La La land.

I am glad to see Dan voted off. Too many a times he not only spoke but acted in an unacceptable manner towards others and especially the women. Where I come from women under no circumstances are to be treated with even a hint of disrespect or off the cuff idiotic remarks.
Posted by: Ray | March 26, 2008 02:26 PM
Dan,
I loved watching Dan on the show! I am very sad that he was voted off. I was also sad when your mother was voted off, as I was pulling for your team all along.
I think you look great, love the hair, love your fun loving personality.
I hope you continue to do well with your weight loss and your musical career.
Sincerely,
Susan

Woo Hoo!!! Boy did you deserve to go. I can't belive what a jerk you were! So cocky and arrogant. Good for you!! Cry Baby! I actually felt bad for your mother watching her son make a big horses AZZ out of himself. Learn some humlity and be a man!
Posted by: Tracey | March 26, 2008 03:10 PM
Glad to see Dan go. He and his mother were never my favorites. He became more and more cocky each week. And I don't think he will make it in Cal, because he can't sing. Was glad to see the hair go it just didn't do anything for him except make him look like the shaggy dog. Also the brothers need to go next. Roger is okay but I am routing for Ali.
Posted by: Nancy | March 26, 2008 03:26 PM
I was very glad to see Dan get voted off last night. Yes, he did amazingly well at the weightloss and should be proud of himself for that. However, there is a difference between self-confidence and cocky and I have seen him as nothing more than a mean-spirited cocky adolescent for quite awhile now. That being said, I do wish him the best of luck and hope that he's able to incorporate the tools he learned at TBL into real life.
Posted by: Dev | March 26, 2008 03:35 PM
I must agree with all the above sentiments about Dan. In the beginning, I was pulling for him. He seemed like a sweet kid and I could see alot of myself in him but as soon as his mother went home he turned into another person. Roger, Mark and Jay were a horrible influence on him and I feel as though the incident with the Concession Stand Table challenge only proved it more. Last night's show was a gross injustice to the ladies and reinforced how overweight women are treated everyday of our lives like second class citizens and Dan just joined the gang. I hope the Blue Team will be defeated in the end by a woman I just hate that Dan had to be one of their victims in a way.

One thing to remember. All these comments are great. Unfortunately though, they do no good because this show was taped and any comments made mean nothing. All these people are home working out on their own. We will see how the live finale turns out. I really think this show needs some better rules to follow especially the proper way to treat people. These people will never see each other again once the show is over, so the guys don't need to show any respect to anyone. Other than the weight loss they are on the show for the money more than the weight loss. Just my opinion.
Posted by: Nancy | March 26, 2008 04:05 PM
DANNY BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will be greatly missed!! You were my pick but don't give up cause I KNOW you are gonna come back for the finale and you WILL be the at home BL!!!! Don't mind the rest of the azzez on here, I guess they didn't realize that this is a game!!! I think it's great that the Blue team has remained a team. Yeah it bit you in the ass but you played the game and that's that! You lost 112lbs on campus and I can't wait to see you at the finale! Don't let me down, show up SMOKIN'! And good look on your career, you have an awesome voice and now you have an awesome look! I'll miss you every week!!!!
Posted by: Lisa | March 26, 2008 04:12 PM
Well, maybe the comments don't make any different to anyone at this point, but it's still satisfying to get them out there.
I've been really disappointed to see Dan's character shift due to the bad influence of the blue team. I was also disappointed by Bob, who picked the easy team to get results from - big, fat boys with a lot of weight to lose and tons of macho insecurity.
I hope that Dan re-evaluates the sexist tendencies that he developed over the course of the time he spent bonding with them. His mom was a much more positive influence. It would have been hard to resist asking him if that junk food was worth the weigh-in last night, but the women maintainted their integrity (at least that we saw).
As far as playing the game, those boys are idiots. Roger is the surest winner, since he has the most to lose and has a background in athletics. He probably needs the $250K less than any of the other contestants. Anyone with half a neuron would have voted him off as soon as possible. Mark (maybe) has 10 more pounds he could lose, but he's already looking drawn around the eyes, and I don't think that Jay can drop over 50% of his original weight (which Roger clearly can).
This being said, I'm voting for one of the women to win. I think that either of them could take it. You never know what will happen when any of these people get home. The women would have to get pretty tiny, but both of them are obviously, very hard workers, tough and disciplined. And, unlike the boys, they don't have a sense of entitlement.

While I congratulate you on your weight loss, I feel that many others were right. Your cocky attitude went way too far.
While the producers may have the ability to portray you in a bad light, you have to provide them the ammunition to do so. If you didn't behave like such a spoiled, cocky brat, you wouldn't have been put in this situation.
My bf and I were actually cheering for you and your mom at the start of this season, but after you both started showing your true colors, we quickly lost interest in seeing either of you win anything.
Here's hoping the women continue to beat the men out for the remainder of the show.

I posted early about the difference in Dan from when his Mom was on until he got voted off.
It seems alot of you here also agreed that the Blue Team guys were a terrible influence on him.
We seem to all agree about last nights episode and the way the guys took advantage of the woman.
I also agree that the show needs to change the rules and have everyone have respect for one another. You are all there to lose weight and win the big price.
There is no reason to degrade or humilate another person or person's (Reference to how the men are currently treating the woman).
Iam so glad that after the way the woman were treated , they had victory on the scale.
I really would love to see both Ali and Kelly in the finals.
I think Roger will be the third person to be in the finals also.
PLEASE GET RID OF MARK AND JAY! I CAN NOT STAND THIER COCKYNESS, AND ALL THAT CRYING!
Also I have to add that Bob has really let me down this season with picking the guys and how he has bonded with them. It is as if he agrees with their behavior.
I feel for Jullian who I have always liked. At least every season she has shown she really truly cares about her team. This season was no different.
Also I really like Bernie,he was one of the most decent guys in the game!

I, for one, am really sick of the comments about Dan's "cocky" behavior. I have a nephew who is in the same age range and just as heavy as Dan was. And he acts just as cocky. Its a cover for low-self esteem people.
Dan, out of the Pride Team - I'd have you in my home any day. Tell your mom she did a great job with you and enjoy L.A., Dude!!! You're infectious.
The team should have gotten rid of Mark, not you. Sheesh!
But the biggest jerk on that show is ROGER!! He's a troublemaker and will knife anyone in the back.
Big hugs to you Dan. You keep working on - you are SOOO worth it!! Can't wait to see you at the finale - you're gonna look fab!!

I was so sad when Dan was voted off. He was the only person to leave to make me feel this way. However,I was not happy when Jackie was voted out either. Probably because I relate to them. Dan is like a son to me. Jackie and your family should be so proud of him. I am. Good luck in all you do your future

Dan, you are so inspirational! I am so sorry you were voted off as I was pulling for you all the way. I admire you and your Mom and I hope to hear wonderful things about you in your future and your music. Good luck, for me you were/are (and always will be) the Biggest Loser! You rock!!

Dan - why on earth would you have put that cake on Kelly's table when Roger is the one who tried to sabotoge you? If you were smarter, you would have - as you always say - played the game. You could have tried to add calories to everyone's table and possibly won the money or the pound yourself.
Posted by: Anonymous | March 26, 2008 08:34 PM
Dan, You do look AWESOME. You did do a great job with your weight loss. However, your comment last night about who ever gets in the blue teams way will have to go.. Well, never say never, too bad it came back to haunt you. I'm so glad ALI finally saw the light after the concession stand competition. Had she voted off Jay instead of Brittany it could have been 3 against 3 instead of being outnumbered. I can't believe how shocked she was that blue was singling them out. But this isn't about Ali, it's about Dan. You do look fantastic, although maybe tone it down a notch, no one likes a cocky kid.. Lots of luck

After reading through these comments, I am perplexed by those who defend Dan's actions - saying that he's young and that's the way he's supposed to act. No, actually it's not. I would never accept that behavior from my son - especially not on NATIONAL TELEVISION. I don't blame Dan completely, nor do I blame his mother or how he was raised. It's obvious that the Blue Team manipulated this young man at a particularly voulneralbe time in his life. Dan, your actions are not excuseable - you are an adult now and no matter how young you are it's time to grow up. I wish you the best in your weight loss efforts.

I wish Dan had been able to stay...yes, he does act cocky, but I think that goes with his age. I also think he's grown up a lot since the show started. Love the haircut and Dan, you did a great job losing the weight...keep it up and good luck in LA

Hi Dan,
Just wanted to say that we are sorry to see you go. You were our favorite my son and I watch the show. He is 13yrs. I think it is a great show. Shows all these kids what obesity can do to you. cause kids dont listen to reason, but the show is great in teaching people alot about diet and exercise and hopefully can prevent alot of childhood obesity and diabetes. I am a nurse so concerned about that, though my son and I are not obese by any means. The show has taught us both alot about life and empathy, and so many other good things we were sorry to see you go. You are the only one on the blue team that I liked and I really wish Mark had been voted off again. He is at his goal. yeah you were all cocky but I thought you were the most down to earth. I would like to see Roger go. and Mark. If it had to be, I would rather see Jay win of the remaining blue team. But I really liked Britanany. and now that both of you are gone. I hope Kelly or Ali wins. I never liked any of the the other men much. I did like Paul he was pretty cool. But we were really pulling for you. Good luck with your endeavor in California. Thats were we live but I am from West Virgina. the only part of california that is nice is Sacramento where I live otherwise I enjoy the East better.

Wow, everybody's fault but Dan's? He is an adult, he is a kid.....The guys are too macho, the guys are to sentimental with all their crying. Does anyone notice---you can't make up your mind! If you don't like them, fine, but get real please!!! Remember, this is edited---I doubt anyone is exactly as portrayed.

First of all, Dan did a great job losing the weight. However, I agree with the majority that Dan's behavior was awful. And not just the way he behaved towards the girls but in general I am paraphrasing but when he said This just goes to prove that I am the smartest on here I almost fell over.
I found myself wondering if he was so cocky when he was overweight. It seems like the more weight he lost the more cocky he became. If this is the case Dan is going to find himself with no friends in CA.

Dan, first off congratulations on losing such a huge amount of weight. At the same time I feel that as you lost weight your ego got a lot bigger. Perhaps some humbleness wouldn't hurt. You started out as one of my favortites but as time passed I couldn't stand the way you treated the women and came off as "all that." I agree with the previous post...bring it down a level or two or three for that matter.
Posted by: Zara | March 27, 2008 12:43 PM
I am really happy for you that you lost all of that weight but I am glad you got voted off!! Why? Because you are way too cocky and think too much of yourself. Now next week we don't have to see you editorializing everything and thinking that you are the best and smartest person on earth. I was happy when your mom got eliminated back when she did because the two of you along with other of your cast mates are too busy playing games. When you went to the ranch, your main focus should have been getting healthy and in the elimination rounds you should have voted off the biggest threats (Brittany wasn't a big threat-you should have voted off Jay!) not the least threatening.
Posted by: Paula | March 27, 2008 01:35 PM
I'M SO VERY HAPPY THAT DAN IS OFF!!!Because he thinks he is all that and he is just a big jerk thing that he is the smartest.Because if he was he wouldn't have left his cake in open where people can steal it like Roger did. Thanks for loosing one pound Dan.That made me very happy so I don't hear your big mounth talking about how wunderful you think you are and goossip about each other and say mean things to the black team.

Dan
You you have motivated me, not only as a loser but because of your very friendly personality. I lost 18% of my starting weight of 220 pounds and have kept the weight off for over 9 months. I try to go to the gym 3 to 4 times per week. I end each workout with a swim.
Best wishes for success in all future endeavers.

Are you kidding? Dan and the blue team rock! They stood by each other-why aren't people commenting on Jillian and her favoritism? That's b.s.! It was finally nice to see people on the last episode being nice to each other! I'll miss you Dan! And Jillian-watch your mouth!
Posted by: marianne | March 27, 2008 04:27 PM
Dan just turned into an annoying jerk. I could hardly stand to watch anymore. I am so happy that he's gone. I was trilled for the girls! Great job! The guys had it coming! They have made this season so hard to watch.
Posted by: Rose | March 27, 2008 04:49 PM
First of all, Bill and Lisa, if you like Jillian so much, you could at least spell her name right. It's JILLian, not JULLian. Second of all, I used to like Dan, but now he's, in his own words, "The smartest person on the ranch, the coolest guy on the ranch, the most superior person on the ranch, the Biggest Loser, and a bag of baked potato chips.". I know what he is, he WAS the Biggest Ego. Not to mention the Biggest Lady Persecutor. He was okay before, but now, his attitude made me want to puke. Good Riddance!

If you disagree, don't kill me. The Supreme Court would want to lynch you.
Posted by: Joe | March 27, 2008 06:45 PM
I just want to say that I am truly satisfied that Dan finally got voted off the Show. As the weeks progressed, his comments towards the girls became much more demeaning and frankly, when he said that now it's "proof that he's the smartest one on the Ranch", I just about spit out my water onto my fiancee...by no means does being able to count calories mean that you are "smarter". If you all will go back and remember, Dan and Jackie together were strategists, and when Dan would "confess" on camera, he too, would OFTEN ADMIT, to saying what "needed to be said" to play the Game. That, combined with his cockiness that grew week after week, made me high-five consistently while watching the show the moment that he went below the Yellow Line and started bawling like the spoiled brat he was, and is, for the last "hour" that he was on the Ranch. A well-deserved vote off, if I must say so myself!!!

I too was happy to see Dan get the boot. I was hoping it would be him and was thrilled when it was. He was way too cocky and mean to the women. He was so intent on dumping on the women that he missed completely the fact that the men were the bigger threat to him. Being a "star" certainly went to his head.
Posted by: Dede | March 27, 2008 10:19 PM
Dan,
you are a really great kid and it was great to see you become a young man during your stay at the ranch. I wish you well and if I had a daughter the right age I would love for her to meet you!

As a woman, I am not seeing where the men were abusing the women. It seems to me the verbal spears are flying from both sides. Brittany could be pretty demeaning also. After all this is a game. Trent has been the only one in my opinion that was in this for the weight loss and not the money. I would like to see the whole show based on eliminating the person below the yellow line. That would make it more about healthy lifestyles than the money.
Posted by: rkt | March 28, 2008 07:48 AM
Dan, you did a great job!!! From my point of view, I see nothing wrong or sissifyed with a guy showing his emotions by crying. In fact, I see it as a strength. It shows you are comfortable as a man to really show those feelings.
I love the blue team and I was hoping to see all four of you in the finals, then go home and work really hard to see who wins.
I was surprised to see the ladies vote against you and I really thought you should be the one to stay. (And I really like Mark).
Keep up the great work!!

I was sad to see Dan go. I was so hoping it was going to be the girls below the yellow line. I usually only watch the biggest loser until my favorite gets voted off, so I guess now I will have to find something else to watch. There is no one left rooting for on the show. By the way, I am a woman and I don't see how the men were abusing the women. I saw nothing wrong with the men ganging up on the women with the last challenge. It is a game after all.

Hey, Dan! How did I miss the fact that your hometown, Frankfort, IL is only about 20 miles from me? I'm in Kankakee! Anyway, I wish you and your mom the best of luck succeeding on your own and look forward to seeing you both on the season finale!

My daughter and I about died when Dan said previously, "I am what every 21 yr old should be." We looked at each other and my 16 yr old says -- "What's that, an egotistical jerk?"
That said, great job on the weight loss. Too bad it just made your personality nastier.
Posted by: Tracy | March 28, 2008 05:43 PM
This whole show has been screwy! Instead of voting off the biggest threats (the fattest guys) the blue team continued to hover together! It's been crazy! Dan, you sounded really cocky there in the end thinking your team was going to save you and that Kelly was not going to lose weight, but she sure kicked your ass, little boy!
Posted by: cbe | March 28, 2008 07:46 PM
To the Biggest Loser Producer: Why don't you make the competition FAIR, and have and all ladies BL season?
Re: Comments about Jillian
I believe she is a good trainer; however, I can't believe her foul mouth with Alison. That was uncalled for an unprofessional!! Alison was doing her job! BEING A HOST! Also, in the escalator challenge for the trainers, she gave up pretty quick ...what happened to all that bullying she does with the contestants? She should have turned it on herself and won the challenge! Hypocrite!
Posted by: cbe | March 28, 2008 08:03 PM
Dan,
I know you are young and easily influenced, but I am so glad you were voted off. I hope when you watch the show you realize how nasty you acted. Lesson-what goes around, comes around. Your 'boys' played you, it's too bad you didn't see it. Maybe you would have won - instead you handed it to the manipulative Roger.
Posted by: joe | March 28, 2008 08:36 PM
Dan! I LOVED watching you on the show! you are a great wonderful 21 year old boy! the bond the blue team made was an incredible thing to watch. The boys bonding together made the people on the show seem more real. It is nice to get a break from the whiny black team. I wish you continued success with your weight loss and music business!

Dan, Karma's a witch, and things usually come back to bite you in the butt.
When your mother and you first started on the show, you guys were one of my favorites, when she left, you just became a cocky, rude, disrespectful. There are ways to "play the game" that include dignity, and you obviously didn't know how to do that.
I think you needed to be brought down to earth, hopefully that happened.
It's wonderful that you learned healthy habits, hopefully they'll continue to be practiced.
Remember, Karma.

I loved Dan!! I thought you was hilarious, and brought a great bit of fun to the show. The other boys were big cry babies. And all you who think he was mean to the girls, he wasn't. They were just having fun. Remember, it's a GAME. The girls, needed to get some balls, and go back after the boys from the beginning. If I were on that show, I would have allied with the boys for sure, because the rest of the girls are full of excuses and play the "boys are being mean" card whenever something doesn't go their way. Suck it up and get some competitiveness in you. Yes girls lose weight slower, but not all the time. As proven by Kay last season, and Ali this season. I am sorry to see Dan go, and wish you the best of LUCK!

Danny!! You did such a great job and I just wanted to let you and your mom know that you guys are my favorite team on the show! You just have great personalities and really spread smiles, it was so fun to watch both of you. Now I'm sad that you guys arn't on but you both look fantastic!!! (Dan you are quiet the cutie!) So congratulations and keep up the great work :)

I think these people saying that you were cocky did not catch your dry sense of humor. And also I think that it is a mindset that you have to keep, if you want to stay on the show each week. Losing weight starts in your way of thinking.
Dan and his mom were my favorite team to win. A lot of the others fought or whined too much...or complained. Now I'm not sure who to root for, but it will probably be Kelly or Roger that gets my cheers.

Mark Stop the Freakin Crying. and I cant stand the fact that Mark and Ally is back on the show. They were voted off and should not be allowed back. They had a second chance to win the 100k and if the they get voted off again (i hope) they will have a Third Chance. that is not fair to the other oontestants. Dan and Brittany deserve to be in Australia not those two. Its makes me crazy when Mark and Ally win these challeges.

Dan sorry to say but, it was time for you to go home.. You proved that you are cocky throughout the show and especially during the concession stand game. And what really, made me wonder is when you all asked kelly who she was going to vote for when brittany was up for elimination and you had to act smug and add in that majority rules was that necessary? i hope kelly wins.
Posted by: Anonymous | April 1, 2008 11:37 PM
Dan you were the "Sanjiah" of the Biggest Loser". No talent but people still watched you. You are 21, in most states that is considered an adult. I guess in Frankford Illinois it is not. It is still O.K. to act like a kid, at that age. Just because you hung out with Roger at strip clubs in Las Vegas that doesn't make you a man. Good luck in the future. I really hope you do not win at the finale.
Posted by: k | April 2, 2008 01:07 AM
Doesn't any one realize that all the "tears" that you have seen the men & women shed are "years" worth of torment they have endured from everyone for most of their life, and now they are finally able to let the pain surface (torment from friends, family, total strangers and even themselves). I challenge all of you that are negative to spend a day with an obese person and witness what they experience on a daily basis.

DAN, you and your mom were my favorite team from the start! Was really sad to see your mom go cause like others said the big boys kinda influenced you in a bad way. But it's not a big deal, youre so funny and random. good luck here in LA maybe ill see you around town! hope to see you and your mom lookin great at the finale!

Dan, I was sad to see you go. I really felt bad for you. I'm wondering if the salt from the hotdogs and fries brought you down? You have done a wonderful job getting your weight down. You have been very impressive. Keep up the great work, and do well with your music! Blue team should have gotten rid of Roger when they had the chance!

I cannot believe the incredible arrogance of the people who post on this site. No Dan did not DESERVE to go because he was confident! Give him a break! He is a 21 year old finding his way in the world. The people on here that want to run him down are the real LOSERS! No one on this show DESERVED to be voted out! Dan had a bad week, did not lose enough weight and was voted off the show, why? Because he was the bigger threat! That is why. Not for your silly reasons of what he DESERVED. Quit being jealous of the young man who is moving on to great things!
Posted by: KS | April 2, 2008 07:24 PM
Dan looks wonderful! However, I do think that he did get a little over confident. He thought the women were not going to pull it off. They did and he looked like a jerk. Congrats on your weight loss at home, though.

you were handsome when you left! when you and mark were under the yellow line i started to cry bcause you and him were on the same team!i love you:)

I'm sick of everyone hatin' on Blue because of the women! I'm SO glad Ali is back because she has the right attitude. Yeah, she wants to be the first "woman winner" but she's not belly achin' about the guys like Brittney and Maggie constantly were. Dan was AWESOME and so what if he was cocky! He had EVERY right to be. He made the show fun and it wasn't the same without him the other night. You're the best, DAN!

Dan,
I think you underestimate yourself. It wasn't Bob, but you that made the choice to be on this show, and it was you that made up your mind to do the work. You are the one that lost the weight. Bob was only the catalyst. That was good I suppose, but You are the one I was rooting for, not Bob. I think you ALL did a great job. It was the competitive spirit that made things work. You can still make this work. The ultimate goal is the weight loss. The 250,000 at the end is only a carrot they dangle. NICE CARROT I must say, but your health with be yours all your life. Keep up the good work. You made the show enjoyable.

Dan, you deserved to be voted off with having such a cocky know it all attitude.
Posted by: Lisa From CT | April 5, 2008 12:19 PM
Dan did deserve to lose the weight he did and did a great job! He did NOT deserve to get voted off because of his attitude and did NOT get voted off because of it! He got voted off because he was a much bigger threat then Mark to continue to lose weight and win this contest. What disappoints me about this show is that it is NOT really about the person losing the most weight (as seen in last years show when the voted off individual lost more weight then the "winner"!) I would love to see this show run from a perspective that no one is voted off, that it comes down to who loses the most weight at the end of 14 weeks of training. No game playing, no drama, just weight lose.
Posted by: KS | April 6, 2008 12:20 PM
O.K. that's it. Are all of you people that are saying Dan deserved to get voted really that stupid? Or is it that after years of watching t.v. you've fried most of your brain cells? Don't you people realize that what you see on t.v. is exactly what the editors of the show want you to see? They are the one's that shape people's opinions of the contestants. On top of that, what gives you the right to be so hateful to someone you don't even know? Someone that had the courage to get up before millions of people and do that? I don't know many young adult males at that age, who would do that. I'm not saying your not entitled to your lame opinion, but when you post on a blog where it's possible Dan or his family may see it, that's just completely rude, mean, and distasteful. Why don't you get before millions of people weighing that much as well as having to do it in spandex or shirtless before you decide to bash someone you don't even know.

Uh, Laura C. - in part of your rant and rave, you were right the first time....it's YOUR opinion not YOU'RE. YOU'RE is the same as you are. As in (quote) "I'm not saying your not entitled to your lame opinion" (unquote) the first "your" SHOULD have been "you're". There are other ummmm....problems, proper English-wise, but as you say, you were mad. Me? I have to say I'm glad Dan is gone.

you were the biggest jerk! omg i have never seen anyone act like they were so awesome. you are a guy which means its easier for you to lose weight than girls. that doesnt make them LAZY or not as GOOD as you. immature! yuck! you need to learn some respect. and geez, when the girls beat you and sent your cocky butt home you couldnt even say good job. all you could say was that you never expected that. wow. you didnt learn even when you lost less than everyone else. nice ego....too bad you made yourself look like an idiot and an arrogant jerk in front of america! and tell those "pride" losers to quit their crying!!!! waa waa i have never seen guys cry so much more than girls! sick blue team! GO ALI!

I was happy when Dan got eliminated. He has such an arrogant attitude. He did not deserve to win. He treated and spoke very bad about his fellow contestants. If he had not have been so rude he may have gotten farther.
Posted by: Anna | April 8, 2008 09:42 PM
At first you were my favorite and I wanted you to win. But the more weight you

I'm not understanding why the players eliminated Dan instead of Mark. The brothers are never going to vote each other off, making them, as a combo, a powerhouse. When Mark returned, I thought, "Just wait until one of them falls below the line, and they're out." I was shocked! That said, the producers made Dad look like a real jerkizoid in last night's episode. I'm not sure how he is in real life, but they've always made him out to be a kinda nice kid.
