Jay, you worked very hard and look great. Congratulations on making it so far in the show. Your life will never be the same.

BUT, I must say, I am so tired of blubbering men, When one of you turns on the water works, I switch channels or turn down the volume. I hope the 2 left will get a grip.

That said, good luck in the future.

Good Job Jay!!! I look forward to see you on the Finale!

Jay, great job.... personally the emotion all you guys showed was wonderful. It showed the gratitude you have for being able to be part of such a life transforming event. Keep up the good work and keep the promise to yourself to never get heavy again. Be PROUD... you did great!!

Jay- sad to see you go home on last nights episode however you look wonderful and should be extremly proud of yourself! Stay sweet!!!

    Posted by: Lisa | April 2, 2008 09:33 AM

Doesn't any one realize that all the "tears" that you have seen the men & women shed are "years" worth of torment they have endured from everyone for most of their life, and now they are finally able to let the pain surface(torment from friends, family, total strangers and even themselves). I challenge all of you that are negative to spend a day with an obese person and witness what they experience on a daily basis.

    Posted by: Anonymous | April 2, 2008 09:39 AM

Jay you have done a great job. I am really glad to see you getting out of your brother's shadow. You have to stick up for yourself and others if you think something isn't right. Don't think, what will my brother think? Just do it.

Posted by: Sandy- Vt | April 2, 2008 10:02 AM

How many hours do the contestants work out each day? How much weights, how much cardio? The weight loss numbers are insane.

    Posted by: Scott | April 2, 2008 10:19 AM

Congratulations to being one of the biggest losers this season. It was refreshing to see the bond between you and your brother.

Anyone that tells you to stop showing your emotions does not have a clue and probably are unable to show a sincere emotion such as crying. Don't let anyone make you feel like crying is unacceptable for a man. It is a characteristic of a true man.

    The blue team is great!

Jay...great work on the show. You were one of my favorites.

I have to wonder if I'm the only one that thought this vote was ridiculous? At least from a gameplay standpoint...Mark just keeps getting pardons from the governor. If he wins the biggest loser; the other players will only have themselves to blame. I didn't care much for the way he treated Jay early in show or his arrogant attitude. I think voting Jay off was a bad move.

    Posted by: JT | April 2, 2008 10:48 AM

Great job Jay, pat yourself on the back from me. Keep up the good work. God Bless

    Posted by: Misty | April 2, 2008 11:45 AM

Jay great job. I was disappointed though that you were the one voted off. I was hoping it would be Mark. He was voted off once and I don't think either him or Ali should have been allowed back on. But this is just my opinion. Looking forward to seeing you at the finale so keep up the good work.

Wasn't anybody curious about Jay's comment that "he's still here."?

    Jay-
You are one of my favorites!! I expect to see you lose the most from the people sent home--I'm still cheering for you all the way! You look AWESOME!!

i wish mark would have gone home instead. he acts like such an a-hole sometimes, and plus they already got rid of him once! Jay you are too nice and sweet to have taken the hit. Good luck in health for the rest of your life.

Jay Congrats!!! I havent missed a show and you are a favorite. Can't wait to see you in the finale. My daughter and I cried when you went home and your daughter ran up to you. You seem to have a great family!!!

    Jay,

I thinking your "cry baby" of a brother should have been the one sent home. I have to applauded his wife for telling him in so many words to grow some balls and get "tough". You are doing a great job and I enjoyed watching you. Best of luck to you in life.

    Posted by: Lindy | April 2, 2008 01:47 PM

Great job Jay!! You look wonderful and have made wonderful changes in your life that are worth more than any amount of money in the world. The bond between you and your brother - and even you and the rest of your teammates was heartwarming. These days so many people seem to have hidden agendas - but, you guys were all true to each other with compassion for each other. Good luck to you - and all the other contestants.

Jay, I think you and your brother are awesome. I have enjoyed seeing the bond you have and the progress you've made. I really wish that Mark did not buckle under Roger's pressure. He is just a bully, and it was his way of manipulating to win. Poor Mark should have sent Roger home instead. I am pulling for you and your brother to win. Jay, you need to win at home and Mark win on campus and then split the prizes! You guys are great. SEND ROGER HOME!!!!!

Jay, Congrats to you and your brother for your weight loss success. I am very interested in the 10 k race that you were going to sponsor for your daughter's medical condition. Being a parent with a child with special needs and also having a lifelong struggle with weight, we are in the same boat. While losing 64 lbs. last year with the help of a weight loss challenge similar to the biggest loser at our local ymca, I do many charity walks and would like to participate in yours. You have inspired me to get back on the bandwagon and after a long winter of regaining some of my wieght, I am ready to get back in shape and loss the rest of my weight. Continued success to you and Mark!

I don't understand why they clearly did these interviews before the people had been eliminated. About 3 of the 10 questions are never answered because they're not relevant to the contestant at that time! These Q&As never give any additional or useful info.

    Posted by: Jen | April 2, 2008 05:44 PM

I agree with deramojd about he is still here, and also question #4. Who do you think will make it to the end of the show. Jay said Jay. I hope they don't bring him back next week. Because it looks like they have a surprise instore. I will be very upset. They aren't giving others the chance. I really hope not.

    Posted by: Sandy | April 2, 2008 05:56 PM

Jay, Do you think that your brother will run off with Alie???? Ok lets forget I asked that. haha I hope the team will concentrate on getting rid of Roger!

    Posted by: Kristine | April 2, 2008 06:20 PM

Great Job Jay! I don't care what anyone says about all of the crying. I know that it is sincere and I think it is great that you guys show some emotion. Until someone walks in your shoes, they cannot possibly judge you guys for showing your emotions. Keep up the good work at home!!!!

    Posted by: Bridget | April 2, 2008 06:42 PM

why do they do these interviews before the contestants know their fate?? I always see references to "I haven't seen the show yet" or "I will make it to the end of the show" or "I am still here" - it's dumb. Clearly they do this while they are still on the show, and I want to hear about life after!

howdy jay, i'm a local runner - fatkid turned runner - who would love to run your 10k. Why don't you have enough pull with nbc to have a link to the run's website on the biggest loser page? - i'd work on that the bigger the race the more fun it will be and the more money it will raise.

Congratulations for your success. I have a new grandbaby with BWS, and when you mentioned about your daughter it struck a cord. We are in the early stages, but just found out yesterday, she will need surgery for the macroglossia. Curious, if you have had your daughter go through that yet?
I hope your success continues, and your family is blessed with many healthy years to come!!!

I think you are ALL doing a great job, and I was pleased to see the progress you were making. I know you were also, and you will continue to see progress, and be pleased with the results. Keep up the good work. Joe

Awesome job to you and all your cast members. It is amazing seeing the dedication and passion involved in everyone of you, truly inspirational for us the viewers. I am also interested in more information on what you are doing for bringing awareness to BWS. Your clip the other night touched briefly on a race you are forming. Where and when is that taking place? April is Autism Awareness Month. What a great time to get the message out.

Thank you for bringing out awareness for BWS. My daughter was diagnosed with BWS after birth because of her enlarged tongue. It was hard explaining it to ignorant people, who just thought she was cute because she was "sticking out her tongue" at them. We go for our testing every three months and it is one of the sadest things to explain to a 3 year old why we are checking to make sure she is healthy (and find an excuse as to why her twin sister doesn't have to go too).

I wish you much luck with your foundation and thank you for bringing awareness out for our girls! I look forward to getting my family a set of your bracelets.

I just wanted to say congratulations on your successful weight loss!!!
And on the note of Beckwith-Weidemann Syndrome, I have a son with this condition and as many others I had never heard of this. We do the blood work every 3 months also to test for tumors and such. People also think he is cute cause of him sticking his tongue out (which he does look pretty darn cute) although noone knows why its that way. I was so pleased to hear that you want to make people aware of this condition.
    Thanks

    Hi Jay,

I voted tonight for your brother Mark! I think he could win the whole thing... I think it is between him and Ali.

I was so upset when you got voted off. I may be a bit bias because both you and Mark come from Massachusetts and so don't I... but I think it had a lot more to do with both of you pushing each other and I could really feel the love and see the changes in both of you. Not just physically (that is obvious) but mentally and emotionally. I wish you, Mark and your families a lifetime of happiness and health! Keep up the good work!

    Posted by: Kelley | April 8, 2008 11:06 PM

    Jay,
I have to admit I wanted you and Mark voted off at the begining. Then I grew to love and chear for the both of you. As a parent, I kept saying "they are changing the lives of their entire family". You did awesome and you look great!!
    Congrats!

    Hi Jay,

All I can say is by the time you were voted off the show, you were the hottest guy on it! Bob included.

    Posted by: Laura | April 8, 2008 11:13 PM

Jay: I was sorry to see you go but I don't who I wouldn't have wanted off. I wish all of the contestants could win. Congratulations on all that you have accomplished and best wishes for the BWS 10K Run. Here's a suggestion: Ask Bob and Jillian and the other contestants to run. It might bring more attention to your event. Just a thought!

Like I said, Congrats and Good Luck!!!

Jay: Congratulations on your amazing weight loss. I pray that you will maintain a health life as well as your brother. The one thing I must comment on and it seems to have been set aside, but never can be. You and Mark swore on your childrens' lives and broke that oath in the next step of the game. For that reason alone you or Mark do not deserve to win. Obviously, the money is more important to you than your children.

Jay, you looked great at the finale - like a totally new man. In fact, you reminded me of the country singer Randy Travis. You and Mark were my favorites and I am glad you got this new chance in life. Now keep it up - keep it each other going!!!!!

All you negative posters out there fail to realize that Jay and the others don't read your ridiculous comments.

Jay - I am happy for what you accomplished. Keep up the great work and stay healthy.
