Name: Maggie King
Starting Weight: 239 lbs.
Eliminated Weight:184 lbs.
Hometown: Denville, NJ
Favorite cheat food: Chili’s
Goal for '08: Staying healthy

1.) What was your big turning point -- either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose weight?

Maggie: I actually came to the realization that I was fat when I was about 11 (the time I first attended fat camp). I’ve been fat ever since and I just thought that this was about time to finally do something about it.

2.) If you could go back in time, would you go on the show with the same weight-loss buddy? Why or why not?

Maggie: I would definitely still do the show with Jen. She is an amazing person and I’m sad that she left so early in the game.

3.) Who worked harder at losing weight—you or your partner? Tell us why.

Maggie: Jen and I both worked extremely hard. We have both pushed ourselves to limits we never thought we would reach.

4.) What do you think your biggest weight-loss obstacles will be now that you're dieting on your own?

Maggie: The biggest weight loss challenge, when I go home, will be time management. It is something I’ve never been good at.

5. ) Who do you think will make it to the end of the show and why?

Maggie: Hopefully, I will make it to the end of the show. I’ve come this far, it would be a shame to go home now. I think I’m strong enough and smart enough to make it happen.

6.) What is one thing that happened behind-the-scenes that no one would know from watching the show?

Maggie: There’s a reason it happened behind the scenes.

7.)What advice can you give other people who are hoping to lose extra pounds?
Maggie: Don’t doubt yourself. Start slow and work up to the harder stuff. Give it a try.

8.) What strategy did you use to try and stay on the show? Why don’t you think it worked?

Maggie: I’m just trying my best to be myself.

Bernie:I am confident in the Black team’s ability to make it to the end of the show.

6.)What advice can you give other people who are hoping to lose extra pounds?
Bernie: The only advice I can give someone who wants to lose weight would be to not be afraid to be a little selfish with your time and commit to improving your health one day at a time.

Name: Mark Kruger
Starting Weight: 285 lbs.
Eliminated Weight: 201 lbs.
Hometown: New Bedford, MA
Favorite cheat food: Mint chocolate chip ice cream
Goal for '08: Weigh less than Bob Harper

1.) What was your big turning point -- either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose weight?

Mark:[My turning point was] the week where it was all vs. one when Paul told me he was going to send me home to see my kids. A switch turned; I lost 14lbs. that week and that really kick started my weight loss.

2.) If you could go back in time, would you go on the show with the same weight-loss buddy? Why or why not?

Mark: Jay is the only one that I would want to do this with and I would always want to go with him.

3.) Who worked harder at losing weight—you or your partner? Tell us why.

Mark: We both work equally hard in our weight loss and that has helped to keep us both here for so long.

4.) What do you think your biggest weight-loss obstacles will be now that you're dieting on your own?

Mark:[My biggest obstacle is] fitting in my workouts while still being able to do my job and spend time with my family

5. ) Who do you think will make it to the end of the show and why?

Mark: Jay, myself, Roger, and Ali [will make it to the end] because of hard work and alliances.

6.)What advice can you give other people who are hoping to lose extra pounds?
Mark: Taking the first step is the hardest . Once you do it everyday, it gets a little bit easier. Also, change will not come without pain.

7.) What strategy did you use to try and stay on the show? Why don’t you think it worked?

Mark: It is not over for me and I hope my plans work.

8.) Do you think anyone was portrayed unfairly on the show?Myself

9.) Did anyone act differently when the cameras were off? Roger definitely has an “I am better than you” complex.

Paul Marks

Name: Paul Marks
Starting Weight: 303 lbs.
Eliminated Weight: 236 lbs.
Hometown: Rockledge, FL
Favorite cheat food: Fireballs
Goal for '08: My goal for 2007 was to be off my medication. My new and improved goal is to have a defined chin and neck and a 150 lb, muscular body like Jim, the $100K winner from last season.

1.) What was your big turning point -- either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose weight?

Paul: I had been in a stroke unit already, gotten a heart catheter by age 39 and men in my family don’t make it into their 50’s. I was always in pain at the age of 43.

2.) If you could go back in time, would you go on the show with the same weight-loss buddy? Why or why not?

Paul: Yes, Kelly is, has been, and will always be a dear friend, not just an ex-wife. She is very competitive and a cute warrior. Gotta love her tough talk.

3.) Who worked harder at losing weight—you or your partner? Tell us why.

Paul:Both Kelly and I worked equally as hard. There is no “I” in team.

4.) What do you think your biggest weight-loss obstacles will be now that you're dieting on your own?

Paul:[My biggest obstacle is] being able to buy the same food used at the ranch from local grocery stores. There are now low-sodium meats anywhere in my area.

5. ) Who do you think will make it to the end of the show and why?

Paul: Well, I’d like to believe Kelly and I – every time our fate was placed in our own hands. The first time we were on different teams, our fate was in the hands of others.

6.)What advice can you give other people who are hoping to lose extra pounds?
Paul: Don't expect the results you see in us to happen so quickly because it might discourage you. Losing only 1 to 3 lbs a week is more realistic. Just take that first step and never let there be a last. Keep going! You are worth it!

7.) What strategy did you use to try and stay on the show? Why don’t you think it worked?

Paul: I believed Kelly and I worked as the yellow team through many ups and downs. It didn’t work because our fate came down to friendship of kids instead of team strategy.

8.) Do you think anyone was portrayed unfairly on the show? Not so far

9.) Did anyone act differently when the cameras were off?No

Jackie Evans

Name:Jackie Evans
Starting Weight: 246 lbs
Eliminated Weight: 204 lbs
Hometown: Frankfort, IL
Favorite cheat food:Chocolate cake
Goal for '08: To be the “At Home Biggest Loser”

1.) What was your big turning point -- either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose weight?

Jackie:My big turning point was when Dr. Huizenga didn't want to approve me for the show because I was such a risk for a heart attack and he wasn't just talking smack because he proceeded to prescribe an intense array of tests to see if I was fit enough for the show. Thank God I was, but to think my obesity had affected my health to the point I was almost too fat and out of shape to be on The Biggest Loser—now that is truly the biggest loser.

2.) If you could go back in time, would you go on the show with the same weight-loss buddy? Why or why not?

Jackie: Most definitely I would go with the same weight-loss buddy. Dan has lost 73 lbs to date. I feel like I am getting a little redemption (thanks to The Biggest Loser) for being the mom who instilled such poor eating habits in her child. I pretty much raised Dan on fast food while trying to get him and his brothers to all of their sporting and music activities. However well-meaning it may have been, it created a life-threatening situation called obesity in a teenager (He’s now 21) and it has been pretty heart-breaking for me because Dan has been hindered by his weight in achieving his dreams and aspirations.

3.) Who worked harder at losing weight—you or your partner? Tell us why.

Jackie:I think we both worked equally as hard. I think the pounds came off easier for Dan because of his age and sex, but he still had the same mental challenges that I did. I probably stressed out a little more about the losing weight because it was harder for me. I could work right along side of Dan and he would lose more than me.

4.) What do you think your biggest weight-loss obstacles will be now that you're dieting on your own?

Jackie: I think my biggest weight-loss obstacle will be for me to keep my health as the priority in my busy life. I know the key is going to be getting to the gym and planning time to prepare nutritious meals for myself.

5. ) Who do you think will make it to the end of the show and why?

Jackie: I think Dan, Roger, Kelly, and Paul or Bernie will make it until the end. Why? Because Jillian wants it badly enough for Kelly; Paul seems to be getting on track and coming out of his delirium and sometimes stupidity. And he has nothing to go home to. Bernie has enough weight to lose to stay until the end and he is kind of the steady-wins-the-race guy and floats a little beneath the radar. Roger, because we did not get rid of him before he reached the place in his weight where he will just start putting up top percentages every week. And Dan because he has to be in the final four to win. If Dan is in the final four, he will win. I will do what ever it takes to help him.

6.) What is one thing that happened behind-the-scenes that no one would know from watching the show?

Jackie: I think the one thing that people don't realize is how real the weight loss really is. Since I have been home, I spend so much time convincing people (especially those at the gym) how awesome of a program it really is. Most people's perception is that you can only lose 2 lbs a week and remain healthy. I went to The Biggest Loser so out of shape and unhealthy and averaged a 6 lbs a week weight-loss and am far more healthy then when I started. They don't realize how we really trained like athletes for an event (the weekly weigh-in and ultimately, the finale) and that with the proper nutrition, exercising, and a doctor monitoring your blood, urine, muscle mass, breathing, blood pressure and everything else, that it truly is possible to lose large amounts of weight in a short amount of time and be healthier than ever.

7.)What advice can you give other people who are hoping to lose extra pounds?

Jackie: I would say that it is all hinged around desire. First you have to figure out a way to cultivate the desire until it is fiery passion within you. When you desire to win at losing weight you will:

1. Make it the priority.

2. You will begin to require of yourself more than you ever have before.

I think somehow we think we can't do it. We can't exercise that long or that hard or we can't make ourselves eat properly. I think people who want to lose weight have to realize that they have the ability to require of themselves far more than they have ever realized.

And finally you need a coach. We had Bob and Jillian. I realize not everyone can have that. A coach may come in the form of reading daily books that encourage and teach. A coach may come in the form of tapes or CDs. Since I have been home, I have Tivo-ed The Biggest Loser marathon on Bravo and I watch the episodes regularly because they coach me. They remind me that for the time I was at the ranch, I required of myself more than I ever thought I could and because of that I lost 50 lbs, to date. When I watch the episodes, it causes me to dig deep and once again require of myself more than I did before because I have not reached my goal yet.

8.) What strategy did you use to try and stay on the show? Why don't you think it worked?

Jackie: I think my strategy was good all along. I made one major mistake. I did not eat the chocolates and reconfigure the teams. I don't know why I did not think of it until the final seconds of the temptation.

I was sorry to get voted off, but I will always be thankful they voted me off and not Dan.

9.) Do you think anyone was portrayed unfairly on the show?

Jackie: No, not really.

10.) Did anyone act differently when the cameras were off?

Jackie: No, not really.

Jenn Widder

Name:Jenn Widder
Starting Weight: 254 lbs
Eliminated Weight: 223 lbs
Hometown: River Edge, NJ
Favorite cheat food:Cheetos—I like to call them "Cheesy Puffs"
Goal for '08: To go back to Camp Shane and be thin

1.) What was your big turning point -- either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose weight?

Jenn: My biggest turning point, or my rock bottom moment was this summer. A camper came up to me and told me that I was a beautiful person but that I needed to lose weight. No one had ever been that blunt about my weight to my face; hearing that made me realize that I cannot continue to be an Asst. Director for a weight loss camp and be overweight; it just didn't make sense.

2.) If you could go back in time, would you go on the show with the same weight-loss buddy? Why or why not?

Jenn: If I could go back in time, I would have still asked Maggie to go on the show with me. Maggie pushes me to my limits and then some; she is not only my best friend, but one of the best motivators I know.

3.) Who worked harder at losing weight—you or your partner? Tell us why.

Jenn:I feel Maggie and I both pushed ourselves incredibly hard. I don't believe nor think either of us worked harder than the other.

4.) What do you think your biggest weight-loss obstacles will be now that you're dieting on your own?

Jenn: My biggest obstacle now is that at the ranch we were all doing this together; working out, being sore, eating right, icing our aches and pains, etc. Now, it is all me—everything I put into my week is me. It's hard not having anyone to fall back on who understands what I am going through.

5. ) Who do you think will make it to the end of the show and why?

Jenn: If I had to make a guess on who will make it to the end of the show, I would guess Roger, Trent, Jay, and Mark. From day one, the black and grey team had formed an alliance. For some reason, alliances were broken on my end and I believe that those two teams are strong and can take it all the way.

6.) What is one thing that happened behind-the-scenes that no one would know from watching the show?

Jenn: One thing no one would know from watching the show is that Dan does awesome impressions of Bob. He literally had me rolling on the floor laughing at how well he can imitate what Bob says and does.

7.)What advice can you give other people who are hoping to lose extra pounds?

Jenn: My advice for someone who wants to lose weight is that there is no, "magic pill, Monday diet, or perfect time to start." If you want to lose weight you just need to start; once you see results you will stay motivated to continue.

8.) What strategy did you use to try and stay on the show? Why don't you think it worked?

Jenn: My strategy for the show was to form an alliance with the original blue, orange, and yellow team during all vs. one week. For that week, the alliance worked. For a reason I do not understand, it didn't continue to work the next week.

9.) Do you think anyone was portrayed unfairly on the show?

Jenn: I believe Maggie and I were portrayed unfairly the night of the pink team elimination when Kelly said, the reason the purple team fell below the line so much is because we don't work hard enough. Not only did that comment kill our morale, but it was not true. Maggie and I work just as hard, if not harder, than every team and our disadvantage is that we were a girl-girl team who have been yo-yo dieting for the past 11 years. How can you tell someone they aren't working hard enough when they pull a 7 lbs and a 3 lbs to keep their butts safe from elimination?

10.) Did anyone act differently when the cameras were off?

Jenn: I don't believe anyone acted differently when the cameras were off. I really felt that with our cast, "what you saw was what you get."
